**Job Summary**:
**Key Responsibilities**:
- **Payroll Processing**: Accurately track worked and vacation time, and process payroll for all employees.
- **Attendance Tracking**: Maintain accurate attendance and personnel records for all employees, including tracking hours worked, vacation time, sick leave, and other absences.
- **Onboarding and Offboarding**: Manage the onboarding process for new hires, including paperwork, orientation, and assigning necessary equipment. Oversee the offboarding process for departing employees, ensuring a smooth transition.
- **Benefits Administration**: Assist with the administration of the employee benefits programs, including enrollment, changes, and claims processing.
- **WSIB**: Support the submission of WSIB claims from initiation through adjudication.
- **General Office Administration**: Handle various administrative tasks such as filing, data entry, photocopying, and maintaining office supplies.
- **Financial Management**: Assist with financial tasks as needed, such as invoice processing, expense tracking, and budget preparation.
- **Project Budget Administration**: Track project finances for all ongoing and upcoming projects.
**Qualifications**:
- Proven experience in an administrative role, preferably in a small to medium-sized business and preferably in construction.
- Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, Outlook).
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Strong financial skills and understanding of payroll administration.
**Requirements**:
- Successful completion of post secondary bookkeeping or accounting program
