The Suites by INNHotels is a 90-room extended stay hotel, with full kitchenettes, on-site coin laundry, a fitness centre, and social space.

**JOB SUMMARY**:
**JOB RESPONSIBILITIES**:
**Night Audit Procedures**:

- Conduct night audit procedures to reconcile daily guest accounts, charges, and transactions.
- Ensure accuracy in posting room charges, taxes, and other fees.
- Generate and distribute reports summarizing daily operations.

**Guest Services**:

- Welcome late-night arrivals and assist with check-in procedures.
- Handle guest inquiries, requests, and concerns during the night shift.
- Provide exceptional customer service to ensure guest satisfaction.

**Security and Safety**:

- Monitor and ensure the security of the premises during the night hours.
- Respond to emergencies and incidents, following established procedures.
- Report any suspicious activities or safety hazards.
- Perform periodic walk throughs inside and outside building and documentation of activities.

**Financial Transactions**:

- Process guest payments, including credit card transactions and cash handling.
- Verify and balance all revenue and settlement accounts, ensuring accuracy.
- Prepare and distribute accurate and timely financial reports.

**Communication**:

- Communicate effectively with the day shift team, updating them on night activities and any outstanding issues.
- Maintain a log of significant events and activities during the night.

**Hotel Reservations Software Utilization**:

- Utilize hotel management software (e.g., WebRez) for night audit and guest management tasks.
- Troubleshoot and resolve any software-related issues.

**QUALIFICATIONS**:

- 1 year of previous experience in night audit or a related field is required.
- Familiarity with WebRezPro is an asset.
- Strong attention to detail and accuracy in financial transactions.
- Excellent communication and customer service skills.
- Ability to work independently and handle responsibility during the night shift.

**Salary**: $16.25-$17.00 per hour

Schedule:

- 8 hour shift
- Monday to Friday
- Night shift
- Weekends as needed

Supplemental pay types:

- Overtime pay

**Experience**:

- Night Audit: 1 year (required)
- WebRezPro: 1 year (preferred)

Licence/Certification:

- First Aid Certification (preferred)

Ability to Relocate:

- Red Deer County, AB T4E 1Z8: Relocate before starting work (required)
