**Summary**:
The Human Resource Generalist assists in all day-to-day activities of the HR/Payroll department providing support to the Director of HR and the HR Business Partner in order to maintain efficient departmental processes and provide accurate and necessary communication to all employees.

**Main Responsibilities**
- Works with benefits company to send in new hires information to add employees to benefits and pensions.
- Respond to all benefit inquiries from managers and employees on plan provisions, benefits enrollments, status changes and other general inquires in order to communicate necessary information to all employees.
- Distribute all benefit enrollment materials and determine eligibility for new hires to ensure accuracy of benefit/employee data and each employee is set up correctly with benefits.
- Execute the organizations HR initiatives, providing exceptional customer service and driving process improvements to assist in establishing efficient HR/Payroll processes
- Provide HR with requested reports for month end and other reports as required to provide statistical information to management
- Maintain employee personnel records to ensure payroll/benefit information is accurate and up to date.
- Conduct exit interviews for employees to gain insight into why an employee leaves and what we can do better as a company to retain employees.
- Gathering and auditing timekeeping data in order to track the history of all payroll related entries.
- Inputting new hires, leaves, terminations and adjustments with benefits provider.
- Process and send out achievement awards to employees and their managers in order to maintain our service awards program.

**Education**:
Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources Management

**Requirements**:
Minimum 4-5 years’ experience as an H.R. Generalist

Fluently bilingual in French and English both written and verbal

Pay: $65,000.00-$80,000.00 per year

Schedule:

- Monday to Friday

**Experience**:

- HR Generalist: 5 years (preferred)

**Language**:

- French (preferred)

Work Location: Hybrid remote in Mississauga, ON L4W 4L4
