Bilingual HR Generalist

**The Opportunity: Bilingual HR Generalist**
- Responsible for overseeing benefits administration and disability management including preparing disability paperwork, maintaining communications between insurance provider, employees, and managers.
- Provide support to the HR Coordinator and HR/Payroll Administrator with day-to-day activities and projects including reviewing offer letters, slotting chart, reports, assisting with projects, answering questions, etc.
- Manage the annual salary review process by working closely with the HR Manager, VP of HR and Finance.
- Participate in quarterly and annual HR and Payroll audit reviews.
- Work closely with employees and managers to effectively resolve employee relations issues including Performance Improvement Plans, absenteeism issues and preparing disciplinary letters.
- Run reports and analyze data needed for various projects including headcount, hires and termination data, personnel changes, and ad hoc reporting.
- Assist in establishing and reviewing company policies and procedures.
- Create user training modules and guides for implementations of new company procedures.
- Update ADP as required with all guidelines; policies related to team members.
- Act as the backup for bi-weekly payroll processing through ADP WorkforceNow.
- Review the bi-weekly payroll by tracking completion, spot checking payroll data, verifying changes and approving the bi-weekly payroll.
- Implement and manage the Performance Management and Compensation tools annually on ADP Workforce now.
- Provide general HR support including data entry, compiling reports, file maintenance.
- Other duties as required..

**Who you are**:

- 3-5 years’ experience working in a HR related position.
- Ideally, an education in Human Resources Management or combined with related Human Resources experience.
- CHRL required or in process.
- Previous experience in ADP WorkforceNow an asset.
- Previous experience in payroll is an asset.
- Strong computer skills.
- Excellent communication and listening skills.
- Ability to handle sensitive and personal information in a confidential manner.
- Superior time management and organizational skills with keen attention to detail.
- Ability to work with all levels of employees and management.
- Ability to meet deadlines and to juggle a number of tasks at one time.
- Ability to work from directives with little supervision in a team environment.
- **Bilingual** preferred (English/French)
