The Better Business Bureau Serving Western Ontario is seeking a highly organized and customer-focused individual to join our team as a Customer Service / Administrative Support. This dual role is crucial to our daily operations, providing exceptional service to our stakeholders and ensuring the smooth running of our office.
**Responsibilities**:
**Customer Service**:
- Assist with complaints and customer reviews.
- Maintain accurate records of customer interactions.
- Proactively identify and address customer needs.
**Office Administration**:
- Perform general administrative tasks, such as filing, photocopying, and data entry.
- Assist with scheduling meetings and appointments.
- Support other team members with various administrative tasks as needed.
- Prepare and distribute correspondence, reports, and other documents.
- Assist with special projects and events as needed.
- Data entry and maintenance of CRM database.
- Other duties as assigned.
**Other Duties**:
- Contribute to a positive and collaborative work environment.
- Stay up-to-date on BBB programs, services, and policies.
- Adhere to BBB ethical standards and best practices.
**Qualifications**:
- High school diploma or equivalent; post-secondary education in business administration or a related field is an asset.
- Proven experience in a similar administrative support role.
- Excellent customer service skills.
- Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal.
- Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook).
- Proficiency in Google Suite (Docs, Sheets, Slides, Gmail).
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Experience with CRM software is an asset.
**Job Types**: Part-time, Fixed term contract
Contract length: 3 months
Pay: From $17.50 per hour
Expected hours: 25 per week
Flexible language requirement:
- French not required

- Monday to Friday
