Cashier/customer Service Associate

**Job Overview**:
As a Cashier/Customer Service Associate at our health food restaurant, you will be the friendly face of our establishment, providing excellent service while handling transactions and ensuring a smooth dining experience. Your role is essential in creating a welcoming atmosphere and helping customers make healthy, informed food choices.
**Responsibilities**:
- Greet customers warmly, answer menu questions, and provide recommendations based on dietary preferences (vegan, gluten-free, organic, etc.).
- Accurately take and input food/drink orders into the POS system, handling modifications and special requests.
- Accurately process cash, credit, and other payment transactions.
- Communicate orders clearly to the kitchen staff and ensure timely delivery to customers.
- Address customer concerns politely and escalate to management when needed.
**Qualifications**:
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Basic computer skills.
- Ability to multitask, prioritize tasks, and work effectively in a fast-paced environment.
- Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written, with a professional and courteous demeanor.
- Interest in health/nutrition is a plus
