**Overview**

**Responsibilities**
- Assist lawyer with case preparation, including legal research and document review using LexisNexis, Canlii and other legal research tools
- Manage case files and documents through document management systems such as Clio
- Draft, proofread, and edit legal documents, contracts, pleadings, and correspondence with precision and clarity
- Conduct factual research and gather relevant case information across multiple practice areas including personal injury law, litigation/ criminal
- Organize and maintain case files ensuring compliance with legal standards and deadlines
- Support litigation activities such as preparing discovery documents, filing court documents electronically or physically, and managing document review workflows
- Coordinate client interviews and witness statements while maintaining confidentiality and professionalism

**Experience**
- Paralegal experience in a law office setting is required; experience supporting litigation cases is required
- Familiarity with a broad range of practice areas such as estate planning, family law, criminal law, and real estate law is advantageous but not a must. Our main focus is finding someone that can navigate litigation matters clearly.
- Proficiency in legal case management software (e.g., Clio) is essential
- Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities efficiently
- Excellent writing skills for drafting legal documents and correspondence
- Experience with legal administrative tasks such as filing (electronic and paper), proofreading, transcription, data entry, and maintaining organized files
- Demonstrated ability to communicate effectively via phone etiquette and professional correspondence
- Knowledge of project management principles within a legal context is a plus

**Job Type**: Part-time

Pay: $48,895.69-$61,743.26 per year
