**Knowledge/Skills/Experience/Qualifications**:

- Post secondary education, Bachelor’s degree or Diploma, in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
- Minimum 2 years accounting related experience using various accounting software.

**Tasks & Responsibilities Overview**:
Weekly tasks
- Data entry of payables as provided by the Facilities.
- Review of the Census & entry onto Census verification spreadsheet
- Correspond with Administrative Assistant/ Senior Living Advisor if changes are required in PointClickCare.
- Complete all other duties as assigned.

Bi-weekly tasks
- Review of Work Easy Online Program for payroll
- Review & import payroll information into Jonas software.
- Make all necessary corrections/ adjustments required.
- Complete all Payroll Source deductions on a bi-weekly/monthly requirement.
- Complete all other duties as assigned.

Monthly tasks
- Data entry of all payables
- Accrued liabilities entries, for payables & Payroll.
- Preparation of supporting worksheets for entries
- Completion of Balance Sheet Reconciliation
- Transfer of funds to General/Activity Petty Cash once approved by Senior Accountant
- Post deposits into Jonas & PointClickCare as provided by the Facilities.
- Reconciliation of Extra Care Services & preparation of EFT files
- Preparation of Monthly Rent draws for the Facilities
- Reconcile Supplier Statements
- Record entries of any Resident/Tenants move outs that require refunds.
- Complete all other duties as assigned.

Annual/Bi-Annual task
- Assistance in preparing Annual Budgets
- Assistance in Preparing Year End File
- Completion of Annual T4s & Summary
- Completion of Annual EHT Return
- Completion of N3s, Notice to Increase rents.
- Data entry into PointClickCare for the Rent/Services increases
- Complete all other duties as assigned.

**Job Types**: Full-time, Permanent

Pay: $24.50-$27.50 per hour

Expected hours: 37.5 per week
