**Position**:Accounts Payable Clerk

**Reports to**:Controller

**Purpose of Position**: To maintain accurate and timely records relating to the financial operation of the Club, with specific duties as detailed below.

**General Responsibilities**:

- Execute chit processing and corrections to member accounts
- Disbursement and payment of gratuities
- Input yearly budget into Jonas
- Deposits for POS transactions, events, sponsorships, and member payments
- Download transactions and reconcile bank accounts on a weekly basis
- Ensuring tills and safe are balanced and replenishing as needed
- Issuing cheques and credit card payments to various suppliers
- Making all online payments as needed
- Enduring vendors are paid promptly and accurately
- Ensuring all days are correct and closed
- Keeping all administrative documents properly filed and stored as well as being responsible for the shredding of old and unnecessary documentation
- Filing cash receipts, deposit slips, sales journals, cheques stubs, supplier information and bank statements
- Update and reconcile contra deals
- Input all payments into Jonas
