**Position Overview**

We are looking for a talented, enthusiastic, and proactive Account Manager that matches our energy and drive for success. We are seeking an experienced full-time team member to oversee and grow existing and new client accounts. An individual with great communication skills and the ability to create close and trusted relationships with customers and colleagues.

No previous horticultural or botanical experience is necessary. However, a general to advanced understanding of indoor and outdoor fashion, patio, and interior trends is an asset.

The compensation structure ensures that Account Managers make a base and additional compensation/commission puts the average Account Manager at 60-70K annually during your first year. Commission is uncapped.

**Essential Duties & Responsibilities**:

- Manage and develop new business with existing accounts within North America and worldwide.
- Ownership of the entire sales cycle - from developing strategy with the Sales Director, client proposals and quotations, to working with our design team, and following up with clients to close the final sale.
- Build and manage a pipeline of sales opportunities with new and existing clients.
- Connect with key retail business executives and work collectively on national retail programs.
- Negotiate contracts and close agreements while creating long-lasting client relationships.
- Forecast and track key account metrics (e.g.: seasonal sales results, annual forecasts, etc.)

**Minimum Qualifications**:

- **Education**:College diploma and/or university degree in business, marketing, project management or related discipline is an asset.
- **Experience**:5-10 years of experience in sales, customer service or CRM reflecting increasing levels of responsibility.
- Computer skill requirements: MS Word, MS Excel, MS PowerPoint, and MS Outlook.
- Proficiency with technology paired with excellent typing skills is an asset.
- **Travelling**: Valid Canadian Passport or American Visa (if applicable), and Drivers License.
- Having a car in an asset but not required.

- Must be legally authorized to work in Canada.

- Must be well organized and detail-oriented along with the ability to work on multiple projects simultaneously.

- Strategic vision and analytical skills.
- Language: Spanish or French are an asset but not mandatory

**Schedule**:

- 9 am - 5pm (Monday to Friday)
- Please note that overtime and travel are inherent to the position and, as such, you may have to work extended hours to properly serve clients seasonally.

**Job Types**: Full-time, Permanent

**Salary**: $55,000.00-$60,000.00 per year
