**Summary**:
**Responsibilities include but are not limited to**:

- Responsible for service and support of managed inventory in order to promote greater understanding of the customers, increase contacts within the customer group and drive sales results
- Build customer relations whilst exceeding sales objective and increasing customer base through the promotion of Avery Weigh-Tronix products and services
- Drive product and service sales growth through consistent focus and market research, implementing action plans and tactics ensure positive sales
- Develop and implement account penetration strategies to include regular business reviews for key customers to maximize sales
- Document, analyze, and understand impact of customer focused activities to increase productivity and sales within assigned market
- Maintain up-to-date technical knowledge of the scale industry, and Avery Weigh-Tronix products and service upgrades
- Respond to customer requests in timely and efficient manner, guiding product selection, price negotiation and inventory for client purchases
- Responsible for management and maintenance of Salesforce database including activation of new accounts
- Develop annual contract plans for assigned accounts remains alert and responsive to changing customer needs
- Utilized strong communication skills, team orientation and interpersonal strengths to ensure high-quality customer service in a high-pressure environment.
- Work with the service team to identify potential leads and schedule advance customer visits for both new and existing customers accordingly
- Additional tasks as assigned by Branch Manager

**Skills & Experience**:

- Post-Secondary education an asset
- 1-3 years technical sales experience required
- Previous experience with Salesforce/ServiceMax an asset
- Demonstrate ability to learn quickly and easily adapt to new environments and new challenges.
- Ability to work in a highly team-oriented and dynamic environment
- Outstanding sales/negotiation skills and goal-orientated with strong time management and organizational skills
- Needs to be self-motivated and able to manage many simultaneous projects and responsibilities with a desire to achieve goals beyond what is required
- Business acumen around sales forecasting opportunity management and customer planning
- Ability to listen, gain trust and bring to closure an action, project, resolution or sales with customers
- Ability to clearly articulate business drivers, understand key financial and total cost of ownership concepts with all levels of the organization
- Ability to utilize sales process to uncover customer objections/concerns, and determine appropriate solutions
- Strong process discipline, ability to align planning objectives with a pipeline development process to grow and develop market revenue
