OTT Pay is a leading Canadian company that enables businesses to accept QR code-based digital payment methods such as WeChat Pay, Alipay, and China UnionPay. In addition, we offer value-added services such as marketing and e-commerce through our platforms and other partners. We have completed Series D funding.

This is a full-time, permanent position with competitive compensation and benefits, including:

As a Regional Sales Manager, you will:

- Recruit, train, and manage a sales team of 10+ people
- Provide ongoing coaching, feedback, and recognition to your team members
- Ensure your team meets or exceeds sales targets, including number of new signings, active merchants, and transaction volume
- Train new employees on company software and effective sales techniques
- Research new markets and develop new sales strategies to penetrate them
- Develop and implement new sales initiatives, programs, and campaigns to capture key demographics
- Lead regular meetings with your team and provide one-on-one coaching
- Monitor and manage equipment rental and discount rates to ensure profitability
- Collect merchant information from your team members and update CRM in a timely manner
- Communicate with internal departments for boarding processes, ensuring all supporting information and documents are accurate, complete, and authentic
- Communicate with internal stakeholders for merchant requirements, complaints, and feedbacks
- Provide weekly, monthly, and other periodic reports to help management improve sales plans
- Channel non-standalone leads to other teams

To be successful in this role, you will need:

- Prior territory and team management experience in B2B environment
- Prior experience in recruiting team members and providing skill training to inexperienced sales
- A good mentor, trainer, motivator to support your team achieve ambitious sales targets
- Excellent communication and presentation skills
- Business acumen and strong leadership to build a highly productive team in your designated territory
- Prior payment industry, IT, e-commerce experience is preferred
- Entrepreneurial spirit and self-starter attitude
- Proficiency in English is required; other languages would be an asset
- Access to a vehicle would be a definite asset
