We are looking for a Regional Sales Representative, a new role to join a highly skilled team.

Reporting to the Regional Sales Manager, the incumbent will be responsible for the regional bookings for the Ventsim CONTROL Product Suite mainly software and related hardware such as but not limited to: instruments, control panels and automated regulators.

Responsibilities but not limited to:
- Proactively seek opportunities to quote on projects at assigned customers through extensive knowledge of customer forecast maintenance cycles, independent identification of selling opportunities and engage in “upselling” and bundling techniques.- Work closely with Regional Sales Manager and Mining/Ventilation Engineers to develop budget and firm proposals, based on market level pricing for software and related hardware.- Assist Regional Sales Managers and Sales Representatives in closing contracts by distinguishing Howden proposals and capabilities.- Identify and propose new market opportunities by maintaining close working relationship with sales representatives and customers to understand the competitive marketplace.- Create plans / programs to leverage that knowledge to the benefit of customers and Howden.- Develop and conduct customer training and presentations to leverage Howden product portfolio as a solution provider across Howden’s entire range of products.- Identify and propose new market opportunities while increasing existing opportunities.- Provide input regarding competitive products, trends & activities, and regarding customer needs.- Recommend product developments based on market/customer needs.- Work closely with Regional Sales Manager to assist in the development and execution of a tactical sales plan that creates profitable growth across the full range of Howden products and services.

Work schedule: Hybrid, working remotely estimated 50% of the time.

Other: must be available to travel (up to 25%)

- rs_- Minimum of 5 years experience in Mine Ventilation- Bachelor’s degree in Mining Engineer, Electrical Engineer or related field- Minimum of 2 years on a sales related role.- Bilingual French and English required, Spanish is a plus.- Strong interpersonal skills, including excellent oral and written communication skills.- Broad business knowledge; must understand how a business works and impact of decisions with regard to profitability, quality, sales, forecasting, product development, etc.- Ability to interact with diverse global cultures and demonstrate effective communication and team building skills with associates, vendors and customers in a variety of business functions.- Positive attitude, ethics, and values necessary to support the company's mission and a high performance culture.

- s_- Existing network in the underground mining business.- Experience with process automation - airflow monitoring, dampers, regulators, VFD integration.- Experience with communication systems (Modbus TCP/IP, Modbus RTU, Ethernet IP, Wi-Fi, LTE, Leaky Feeder).- Good knowledge of Microsoft Office (Word and Excel) and ERP/CRM system or other technology tools is important- Ability to communicate effectively and build relationships with team members;- Ability to multi-task and work in a priority-changing environment
