**Position Summary**:
The Operations Coordinator is required to assist in the growth and development of the Custom Solutions department by streamlining supply chain processes, coordinating projects, and supporting operations within the department to ensure successful completion of fabrication projects. The Operations Coordinator ensures activities meet and integrate with organization requirements for quality management, health and safety, environmental policies and general duty of care.

As a key member of the Custom Solutions team at Edmonton Valve & Fitting, the Operations Coordinator is instrumental in managing and coordinating custom solutions processes and projects. Drawing on industry expertise, this role provides critical support to the team, ensuring projects meet or exceed Quality, ABSA, and customer expectations. Success in this role requires exceptional organizational skills, meticulous attention to detail, and a commitment to excellence.

Reporting directly to the Custom Solutions Manager, this position is essential to advancing the department’s mission and delivering outstanding results.

**What you will do**:

- Production order entry, review and release
- Procurement and inventory control
- Management of documentation requirements for projects
- Work with customers on project deliverables
- Review of quotes, invoices and orders
- Scheduling/logistics of labour and materials
- Collaboration with engineering, drafting and fabrication teams to ensure successful completion of projects
- Support of Lean and 5S projects to achieve operational excellence
- Assist with quality and safety programs as required

**Qualifications/Skills**:
**Education and Experience**:

- High School Diploma
- Experience with document control processes
- Familiarity with assembly, fabrication, or instrumentation practice

- Exceptional attention to detail, maintaining accuracy and consistency in all tasks
