We are immediately seeking a full-time (or two part time) employee who loves animals, enthusiastic, reliable, dedicated, motivated, mature and responsible individual to join our team as a Dog Walker/Pet Sitter.

The Dog Walker positions allows you the opportunity to work with a variety of dogs and provide them with exercise and companionship on a daily basis. This is a great position for people who loves all types of dogs and enjoys spending time walking in natyes.

As a pet sitter you will take care of a clients pet either at their home or your own.

The part time position can lead to full time. If hired you must be available/agree to a one year contract.

**GROUP DOG WALKER DUTIES**:

- Walk dogs of various breeds and sizes in designated areas
- Ensure the safety and well-being of the dogs in your care
- Provide exercise and mental stimulation while on outdoor adventures
- Pick up and dispose of dog waste properly
- Report any concerns or incidents to the supervisor
- Ensure the dogs have fun on their outdoor adventure with you
- Pick up and drop off the clients dog in allocated location
- Must be able to sign a one year contract

**PET SITTER DUTIES**:

- Pet Sitter will take special care of a clients pet in their home or to board at your home.
- You will follow the clients specific instructions on caring for their pet while they are in your care.
- You will take the clients dog with you on at least one walk per day.

**EMPLOYEE REQUIREMENTS**:

- Must have a genuine love for animals, particularly dogs
- Must be available for dog walking, Monday to Friday, during the day while clients are at work.
- Own a reliable vehicle large enough to transport 6 dogs
- Vehicle must be suitable for all weather conditions.
- Must use snow tires during colder months
- Previous experience working with or owning dogs
- Ability to handle 6 dogs at a time of different temperaments and behaviours
- Excellent customer service skills to effectively communicate with pet owners
- Physical stamina to walk multiple dogs for extended periods of time
- Mature, happy, easy going, responsible, professional
- Enjoys working on their own, motivated, punctual
- Reliable, dedicated, hard worker
- Owns suitable gear for all weather conditions, including hiking boots & rain gear
- Lives on the North Shore or close to the North Shore bridges.
- Love working outdoors in all weather conditions
- Must be able to sign a one year contract.

**Job Types**: Full-time, Part-time, Permanent, Fixed term contract
Contract length: 12 months

Pay: $20,000.00-$65,000.00 per year

Expected hours: 20 - 40 per week
