Best Friends Pet Care needs a experienced, reliable, permanent, full time employee.

Your duties will include: private & group dog walks and in-home pet sitting visits for cats & other small animals. We service Commercial Drive to UBC and Cornwall/Hasting to 41st Avenue in Vancouver.

Paid training is provided, including pet first aid certification. Wages start at $19.00 hr for the first 3 months, then $20/hr after for applicants with at least one year's experience. Regular evaluations and raises are given. You will drive company cars, the cost of which is covered. Our office is in South Vancouver.

The positions are comprised of ongoing, regular, scheduled shifts each week available MONDAY through FRIDAY. On average, you would be working 30-40 hours per week. Shifts during the week are daytime/afternoon shifts and are not suitable for people with daytime commitments. This position is available immediately.

You must:

- Have at least one year of experience in the pet industry.
- Be legally allowed to work in Canada
- Possess a valid BC driver's license and a good sense of the city.
- Have a strong command of English, spoken and written. We keep detailed records.
- Love all types of animals and the outdoors. We work rain, snow or shine.
- Be bondable and willing to complete a Criminal background check.
- Be detail oriented, able to adapt on the fly and work well on your own.
