Position Summary:
The position is a highly organized and detail-oriented individual responsible for managing various logistics tasks to support the operations of our organization. This includes coordinating travel arrangements, scheduling safety training, managing drug and alcohol screenings, and coordinating site orientations. The Logistics Coordinator will collaborate with other departments to ensure smooth logístical operations and efficient communication.

**Responsibilities**:

- Coordinate and book all travel arrangements for employees, including flights, hotels, and car rentals, ensuring compliance with company travel policy guidelines and budget.
- Maintain accurate records of travel details, including itineraries, hotel reservations, taxies and car rental confirmations.
- Schedule and coordinate employee safety training sessions, ensuring compliance with safety regulations and company policies.
- Collect safety training certifications from training companies and forward for updating in Pangea.
- Manage and schedule pre-access drug and alcohol screenings for employees according to client requirements, ensuring timely completion and accurate recordkeeping.
- Schedule occupational medical assessments including PFT and fit testing.
- Collaborate with other departments to ensure smooth logístical operations and efficient communication
- May schedule and coordinate site orientations for new employees, ensuring awareness of site-specific safety protocols and procedures.
- Book camp accommodations
- Collaborate with other departments to ensure smooth logístical operations and efficient communication.
- Be available to make and modify bookings outside of regular business hours.
- Set up direct billing accounts with hotels.
- Other work-related duties as assigned.

**Requirements**:

- High School Diploma or equivalent
- Minimum of 2 years of relevant experience in travel or logistics coordination and/or administrative experience.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Strong interpersonal skills with the ability to develop and maintain relationships with clients, suppliers and partners
- Ability to prioritize tasks, identify problems and provide potential solutions
- Flexibility and adaptability to changes in business processes, goals and priorities
- Exceptional organizational skills with the ability to work efficiently and maintain a high degree of accuracy
- Ability to work outside of regular business hours
- Discretion when dealing with confidential and highly sensitive information
