Works within the shift teams and communicates with Logistics Coordinators & RCC’s for yard management & facility support. Coordinates the railcar moves required in the yard for a safe and efficient operation.

**II. ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES**
- Coordinates and perform switching activities in compliance with all Watco and regulatory requirements. Ensures compliance by all crew members. Identifies areas for improvement.
- Works with Logistics Coordinator, RCC, Rail/Loading TA’s, Production Scheduler, A&B Rail & Procor to set & to address and resolve changing priorities.
- Makes sure the outbound trains are:

- Updated in GVP so the train is in 1 track (A001) if clear
- In order as per crew list via GVP
- Correct cars are shipped on the proper date and train.
- Recognize and assist to resolve any recognizable deficiencies
- Assist with switching operations when required
- Ensure all incident reporting is completed by switch crews.
- Ensure reporting is done
- Ensure incident scene is secured as required
- Ensure safety of employees
- Provide support to IRL as required
- Ensure employee field training progresses appropriately and meets requirements
- Actively participate in required training and meetings, e.g.
- Daily Activity Meetings
- Root Cause Investigations
- Start of Shift meeting
- Electronic Tools
- EH&S
- Utilize the Master Task List
**III. QUALIFICATIONS**

The qualifications listed below represent the credentials necessary to perform the essential duties of this position. To be successful in this position, an individual must be able to perform each essential duty satisfactorily. **A.** **Education and/or Experience**
- IROR (Industrial Railway Operating Rules) certified
- Watco Global Rail Switching Policy and Best Practices

Pay: $17.00-$43.00 per hour
