Logistics Coordinator

Fort Erie, ON

We are currently seeking a Logistics Coordinator, someone who is able to seek new business opportunities, create new working relationships and maintain a portfolio of new and existing customers to help grow our company.

Requirements:

  • Passionate about sales and service
  • A self-starter and highly motivated to succeed
  • Strong technical skills
  • The ability to work both independently and as a team member
  • College diploma or University degree an asset

Principle responsibilities will include:

  • Working with a large customer base and handling a high volume of shipments
  • Ability to expand customer base
  • Spot quoting and arranging orders based on set rates
  • Monitor load from order entry to final delivery
  • Tracking and tracing orders
  • Expand carrier database with new quality carriers, and developing positive relationships with new and current carriers
  • Maintaining carrier database by keeping pricing and contact information current
  • Resolving customer issues quickly and accurately
  • Ensuring accurate data entry
  • Follow up with vendors when required

This is an Entry Level position.

Remuneration to be discussed based on experience.

Job Types: Full-time, Permanent

Pay: $37,000.00-$45,000.00 per year
