**Manager (FOH)**

As our new Manager, it will be your job to keep our FOH running smoothly.

Day to day, that means getting our FOH ready for service, scheduling and managing staff, and making sure our guests are delighted with their dining experience.

Our experienced staff don’t need a lot of handholding - your job will be to make sure they have what they need to do their jobs well, and that they feel well-supported.

On the operations side, you’ll be responsible for managing weekly beverage inventories and participating in management meetings to stay on top of policies and promotions (and help us plan them).

In this exciting and fast-paced job, you’ll be the face of Jake’s Grill. You’re an outgoing and confident person, who takes great satisfaction in engaging with your guests to make sure they feel happy. Our customers expect the best from us, and you know what it takes to deliver it.

While it’s important that you have serving experience, we’re not necessarily looking for someone who’s worked as a supervisor before.

**The Details**:
This is a full-time, permanent position working 5 days (40-42 hours) per week. Your schedule will be flexible and shift from week to week depending on restaurant needs. You’ll work a mix of days, evenings, and weekends.

You’ll love that fact that we’re not open late - on weekdays, we’re open until 10, Friday and Saturday until 11, and Sunday until 10.

You’ll be paid a competitive salary, between $50,000 - $55,000 per year, and earn a gratuity share. In addition to a benefits package, you’ll get great perks like discounts on meals for you and your family and friends.

**Qualifications**:

- Minimum 3-5 years’ service experience in a restaurant as a server / bartender
- Experience as a FOH supervisor or manager is an asset, but not required
- High school diploma or equivalent

The following certifications are important, but not required to start with us (but you will need to obtain any that are missing):

- Smart Serve
- Food Safety
- WHMIS
- First Aid
