**Position Overview**:As part of our Kitchen Team, you’ll have the opportunity to work alongside skilled chefs in a high-energy kitchen environment. You’ll play an integral role in creating a top-notch culinary experience for our guests, assisting in food preparation, cooking, and ensuring that every dish meets our high standards.

**Key Responsibilities**:

- Prepare and cook menu items that feature elevated fast-casual dishes, including pizzas, burgers, fresh salads, and rotating specials using seasonal local seafood and produce.
- Work quickly and efficiently in a busy, fast-paced kitchen, ensuring that all dishes meet the high standards of quality, flavour, and presentation.
- Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work environment, adhering to food safety standards and kitchen protocols.
- Support the team in fulfilling high-volume orders during peak service hours, while maintaining the consistency and quality of the food.
- Assist with stock rotation, receiving deliveries, and ensuring the kitchen is fully stocked with fresh ingredients.
- Ensure all food orders are prepared and plated promptly, keeping up with the pace of breakfast, lunch, and/or dinner service.
- Assist with cleaning and maintaining kitchen equipment and work areas throughout service.
- Collaborate with the kitchen team to ensure smooth operations during busy service periods, helping out wherever needed.
- Ability to work efficiently under pressure in a fast-paced environment.
- Strong attention to detail, with a focus on quality, consistency, and presentation.
- A positive attitude and ability to work well within a team.
- Ability to handle the physical demands of the job, including standing for long periods, lifting heavy items, and carrying supplies up the ramp from the marina on supply run days.
- Must be comfortable living and working in a remote environment for the duration of the season.
- Team players who can live and work together with a positive attitude are essential to our success.
- Experience with fast-paced service and/or remote lodge work is an asset.
- Knowledge of basic kitchen safety and food handling practices.
- Passion for cooking and delivering exceptional food.
