Agency Art Lofts, 1660 Hollis Street, with 173 residential units is a delightful mid-century high-rise built in the 1970s, holds a unique spot in Halifax's history. Despite facing challenges with commercial occupancy, its architectural charm shines through - featuring stunning concrete columns and impressive ceiling heights ranging from 11.5 to 16.5 feet.

**Responsibilities**

As our Live-In Resident Manager, you will be at the heart of our community, ensuring a safe and nurturing living environment for all residents. - Serve as the primary point of contact for residents, responding to their concerns with empathy and care, and actively working to resolve issues.
- Oversee the daily operations of the property, including maintenance, security, and cleanliness, ensuring a comfortable and welcoming atmosphere for everyone.
- Greet new residents with warmth and conduct property tours, making their move-in experience as smooth and enjoyable as possible.
- Manage property amenity bookings, maintenance requests, and resident inquiries with attentiveness and professionalism.
- Collaborate closely with maintenance staff and contractors, ensuring that all services are delivered promptly and uphold our standards of care.
- Help foster a sense of community by implementing and nurturing property rules that encourage respect and harmony among residents.
- Organize engaging community events and initiatives that bring residents together, enhancing their sense of belonging and satisfaction.
- Conduct regular property inspections to proactively identify and address safety and maintenance issues, ensuring peace of mind for residents.
- Maintain accurate records of communications, maintenance requests, and incidents with attention to detail.
- Respond to all building-wide emergency items when required.

**Qualifications**
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills, with a friendly and approachable demeanor that puts residents at ease.
- Ability to juggle multiple tasks and prioritize effectively, while maintaining a compassionate approach.
- Problem-solving skills and a proactive mindset to navigate challenges with understanding.
- Previous experience in residential property management, customer service, or a related field is a valued asset, but not a strict requirement.
- Basic technical skills to manage property-related tools and software.
