As a Key Account Manager Cannabis-Contract for our fun and expanding company, you will drive volume and grow business and customer portfolio brands on a continual basis. Manage relationships with accounts. Work closely with Trade Development, supplier counterparts, field sales, customers, and District Managers to manage business and programs.

**Key Account Manager Cannabis-Contract Responsibilities**:

- Lead development of annual plans for key accounts that state agreed brand and consumer strategies and insure the delivery of business goals
- Manage and evaluate through Trade Development all promotional spending by account priority with regards to performance and implement corrective business building actions
- Beat the plan and competition through net sales value, growing share and volume
- Promotional calendar implemented flawlessly across all stores in selected accounts
- Manage digital shopping strategies at retail outlets and online platforms including program planning, execution and maintenance and 360o events
- Ensure approval of new items/innovation brands and SKUs on a time timely basis
- Proactively participate with Trade Development and Sales Management in strategy briefing sessions while continuously providing feedback on program execution and effectiveness
- Assist Sales Management and Trade Development in the development of account specific presentations as well as goals for distribution and merchandising promotion execution
- Analyze competitive activities and generate insights to create a competitive advantage
- Assign and achieve goals by account, ensure accurate sales forecasting activities, and budgeting of plans
- Provide on-going and current assessments of the results of plans by channel, key account and individual customer
- Provide leadership, coaching and development of direct reports where applicable

**Key Account Manager Cannabis-Contract Qualifications**:

- Bachelor’s Degree required
- 3-4 years’ experience in a similar KAM role
- 3-4 years’ experience in a Sales Representative or Territory Manager role
- Advanced computer skills, including proficiency in Excel and MS Office, CRM, other sales platforms
- Experience with digital shopping strategies, events, platforms and retailer execution
- Outstanding and proven analytical, organizational and communication skills
- Demonstrates sound judgment, problem-solving skills and managing complex customer relationships
- Leadership level project management skills including executing best in class in store events and programs

**Physical Demands of Job**:

- Frequent hand motion to perform various duties
- Occasional immediate reaching, mínimal overhead reaching to perform various duties
- Occasional standing and occasional walking for short amounts of time to perform various duties
- Extended sitting for long periods of time at desk or workstation

**Job Type**: Fixed term contract
Contract length: 18 months

**Salary**: $75,000.00-$85,000.00 per year
