**BIMMEX Independent BMW and Mercedes Service**is looking for an Assistant/**Automotive** **Service Manager in Markham, Ontario**. We are looking for a highly motivated and customer-centric individual to join our service team. This position is an integral role at Bimmex and is the front-line service representative who is responsible for providing our customers with an expectational experience while ensuring their service needs are being met.

**Responsibilities**:

- Manage and supervise a team of automotive technicians and Service Advisors, providing guidance and support as needed
- Schedule and prioritize service appointments to ensure efficient workflow
- Ensure that all repairs and maintenance are performed accurately and in a timely manner
- Maintain a high level of customer satisfaction by addressing any concerns or issues promptly
- Monitor and control expenses within the service department
- Implement strategies to increase sales and promote upselling of additional services
- Stay up-to-date with industry trends and advancements in automotive technology
- Collaborate with other departments to ensure smooth operations and excellent customer service

**Skills**:

- Strong customer service skills with the ability to build rapport with customers
- Extensive knowledge of automotive repair and maintenance procedures
- Experience in cash handling and financial management
- Proven track record in sales and upselling of automotive services
- Excellent leadership and team management abilities
- Solid mechanical knowledge to effectively communicate with technicians
- Familiarity with Automotive Service operations and processes

**You’ll also need to have**:

- Minimum of 2 years of automotive service advisor experience
- Minimum of 2 years automotive Service Manager experience
- An understanding of vehicle repairs and maintenance
- Valid Ontario Class ‘G’ Driver’s License
- Experience with Protractor Software (considered an asset)
- Experience with BMW and/or Mercedes (considered an asset)

Pay: $60,000.00-$110,000.00 per year

**Experience**:

- Automotive repairs: 10 years (required)
- Automotive service advisor: 7 years (required)
- Automotive Service Manager: 3 years (required)

Licence/Certification:

- ASE Automobile Service Consultant Certification (required)
