This is a full-time position working inside our Markham location (no nights).

**Responsibilities**:

- Greet the clients, perform an inspection and ensure customer needs are assessed and signatures obtained during the appointment check-in
- Coordinate with the calendar and shop employees to ensure no scheduling conflicts
- Keep in touch with clients throughout the entire service process and keep customers informed
- Maintain documentation on work orders and ensure required data has been collected and updated as necessary throughout the repair process
- Update automotive computer databases, including but not limited to: customer information, parts and inventory control, and ordering/returns
- Organize and receive payments and release the vehicle to the owner after servicing
- Ensure sucessful shop management and coordinate schedules
- Additional duties as required or assigned

Qualifications:

- Minimum three (3) years experience working as an automotive service advisor preferred
- Valid Ontario Driver's License in good standing is required
- Experience with Alldata, Mitchell, etc. automotive software an asset.
- High school diploma or GED is required
- BMW experience preferred
- Strong customer service and communication skills are needed
- Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills are an important part of the role
- Very organized and ability to work under pressure

**Job Types**: Permanent, Full-time

Schedule:

- Monday to Friday
- Weekends as needed

Supplemental pay types:

- Bonus pay
- Commission pay

Ability to commute/relocate:

- Markham, ON L3R 5H8: reliably commute or plan to relocate before starting work (required)

**Experience**:

- automotive service advisor: 3 years (preferred)
