Overview:
We are seeking a skilled Dispatcher to join our team. As a Dispatcher, you will play a crucial role in coordinating and managing the transportation of goods and ensuring efficient communication between drivers, customers, and internal teams. If you have experience in logistics and transportation management, excellent communication skills, and the ability to analyze and solve problems, we would love to hear from you.

**Responsibilities**:

- Coordinate and schedule the delivery of goods to customers
- Communicate with drivers to ensure timely pickups and deliveries
- Utilize transportation management systems to track shipments and update information
- Analyze routes and make adjustments as needed to optimize efficiency
- Resolve any issues or delays that may arise during transportation
- Maintain accurate records of shipments, including tracking numbers and delivery confirmations
- Collaborate with internal teams to ensure smooth operations and customer satisfaction
- Provide exceptional customer service by addressing inquiries and resolving complaints
- Monitor driver performance and provide feedback for improvement

**Skills**:

- Strong knowledge of 3PL (third-party logistics) operations
- Familiarity with shipping receiving processes
- Proficiency in using phone systems for effective communication
- Experience with AS400 or similar inventory management systems
- Knowledge of freight transportation procedures and regulations
- Familiarity with SyteLine or other enterprise resource planning (ERP) software is a plus
- Excellent phone etiquette and interpersonal skills
- Ability to analyze data and make informed decisions
- Strong written and verbal communication skills
