Key Responsibilities

  • Dispatch and coordinate trucks for local and cross-border (Canada/USA) runs
  • Monitor driver progress, hours of service, and compliance with regulations
  • Communicate load details, schedules, and updates to drivers
  • Resolve issues related to delays, breakdowns, or route changes
  • Maintain accurate records using dispatch and tracking systems
  • Work closely with safety, operations, and management teams

Requirements

  • Minimum 3-5 years of dispatch experience in trucking/logistics
  • Strong knowledge of ELD, HOS, and DOT regulations
  • Excellent communication and problem-solving skills
  • Ability to work under pressure in a fast-paced environment
  • Proficient with dispatch software and Microsoft Office
  • Experience with Canada–USA lanes is an asset
