**Description**:
More specifically, but not limited to, the Administrative Technician:

- Informs students about mandatory health insurance and ensures that all students are registered;
- Communicates with students in relation to tuition, payment agreements and insurance;
- Refers current students requiring social, cultural, financial, immigration and academic-related support to other Vanier and external support services;
- Provides students with schedules, course materials, course information, and the organization of learning activities;
- Supports students with French-language requirements and resources;
- Ensures students are fully informed of graduation-related requirements and procedures;
- Provides students with support letters and information regarding fees and refunds;
- Prepares and provides students with information on events and activities;
- Organizes and provides student activity logistics and information, including student orientation, external trips and workshops;
- Participates in the accounting process and liaising with the Finance department for the monitoring of budgets;
- Supports student success through the collection of course data for analysis in order to fully respond to student needs;
- Collaborates with the Continuing Education team and other departments to ensure student success;
- Any other tasks as required by the department.

Other related tasks which fall within the scope of the classification of this position may be assigned.

Contract: July 24, 2026, or until the return of the incumbent to their position.

**Requirements**:

- Qualifications:

- In the administration field, have a diploma of college studies (DEC) in administration with an appropriate specialty or, in the office automation field, a diploma of college studies (DEC) in office automation with an appropriate specialty or, a diploma or an attestation of studies which is recognized as equivalent by the competent authority.

- Strong customer service and student-service oriented approach;
- Strong organizational and human relations skills;
- Strong intercultural awareness and experience working with people of diverse backgrounds;
- Intermediate knowledge of Microsoft Word and Excel (to be tested);
- Excellent English oral and written communication skills (to be tested);
- Strong French oral and written communication skills (to be tested);
- Aptitude for working with detailed information (to be tested);
- Knowledge of a third language, preferably, Hindi, Mandarin or Spanish, is an asset.
