This is a unique opportunity to join our small team of caring, professional and supportive animal lovers. As the previous owner of a large, multi-doctor award-winning practice in Burnaby, I was ready for a change The result is that I am the new owner of this little gem of a clinic, and am committed to providing personalized client care, low-stress handling for our patients, providing access to cutting edge medicine and surgery, and still maintaining the feel and personal touch of a small, neighborhood clinic. We need your help, your initiative, your skills and your passion to make the magic happen

The job primarily involves reception duties, preparing medications, booking appointments and general customer service. Since we are a small practice, there will also be duties involving assisting our skilled technicians and doctors in many aspects of patient care, surgery prep, anesthesia monitoring, post-op recovery, general animal husbandry. Good restraint skills are a bonus.

Port Moody Animal Hospital is just steps away from a sky train station, the Westcoast Express, Rocky Point Park and beautiful oceanside walking trails. We will provide you with a flexible, cooperative and supportive work environment and embrace your unique talents and passions. We have completely renovated the clinic, and have added top quality equipment such as digital radiography, DR dental radiography, and ultrasound.

Experience & knowledge with Avimark software is an asset but not a requirement.

**Job Types**: Full-time, Permanent

Pay: $18.00-$21.00 per hour

Expected hours: 16 - 24 per week
