Dale Veterinary Clinic is looking to add an energetic and motivated, permanent Veterinary Assistant to join our experienced team. We are a friendly, fast paced, small animal hospital located in Port Hope. The position will include working on Saturday morning.

We are looking for someone who has great communication skills and dedication. Duties will include assisting with holding animals for the veterinarian, holding animals for blood collection or other procedures, nail trims, preparing animals for surgery and dentistry, wrapping surgical packs, cleaning surgical areas, cleaning exam rooms and ensuring that the hospital remains clean at all times, managing hospitalized patients, taking x-rays, preparing medication and providing post operative care to animals. Only those with either Veterinary Assistant Experience or education will be considered for this role.
