**The Role**

The Key Account Manager will be responsible for driving sales profitability across a grouping of categories to continue the growth of the Aurora Importing portfolio. Working directly on our National Accounts, you will be involved in strategic planning in line with the growth and success of Aurora, as well as promotional activities, monitoring sales targets and forecasts. You will be working daily with cross-functional teams to make your plans come to life with lots of autonomy and support to really thrive.

**Your Impact**
- Develop and achieve the sales business plan for the business by implementing the strategy, managing total trade spend by category, and achieving agreed shelf, distribution, and promotional targets.
- Analyse, identify, monitor, and address specific issues to achieve Aurora’s goals for sales, commercial spend, share, distribution, and operating budgets.
- Partner directly with our customers Proactively monitor and update the customer's overall business plan, including managing trade budgets, spending, and volume to achieve all sales objectives versus plan.
- Develop and implement trade promotion strategies and tactical plans with the customer.
- Accountable for the strategic Account plan, based on internal objectives, Marketing, Business Development, and Shopper Marketing plans, as well as external competitive marketplace issues and opportunities.
- Effectively manage internal and external relationships, meeting the agreed level of customer contact with all involved parties.
- Be a champion for all brands within the Aurora Importing portfolio

**About You**
- You have great Sales and Account Management experience. Ideally, we’re looking for someone with 4-5 years of experience in increasing levels of sales and supervisory responsibility in the consumer products industry.
- You also have 2-3 years of experience working directly with National Accounts (Loblaw Companies Limited, Walmart, Sobeys).
- Sound understanding of order management, logistics, retail sales coverage and executing customer sales.
- Genuinely passionate about the CPG industry and are looking for continuous learning and development opportunities.
- Knowledgeable on how to leverage industry and partner tools such as Top Shelf and Walmart Retail Link.
- Have a knack for synthesizing large quantities of data to relevant, actionable insights, and recommendations.
- Excel in a fast-changing, high-pace and fun work environment.
- Ability and willingness to travel, as needed.
- Degree, diploma or equivalent in Sales, Business, Marketing or Customer Service.
