Position: Procurement Manager

Terms of Employment: Full-time / Permanent

Benefits: Eligible for discretionary bonuses and/or salary increases in accordance with company policy. Eligible to participate in the company’s annual Salaried Short-Term Bonus Program. Eligible for the full salaried benefit package applicable to permanent salaried employees. Job Overview:
The role works closely across our entire Procurement team working with Head of Procurement for Canada to support the development of our strategic plan to deliver cost improvement.

Owner of all strategic Canadian Operational Non-Commercial Overheads costs and projects. Projects will range in scope but will cover our ability to transform data to drive financial insight and improvements.

Duties:

- Supporting the business cycle as the owner of material price metrics, ensuring a direct link to financials
- Working with the business to understand gaps and develop projects to improve performance
- Evaluating risk and assessing other factors concerning the supply market, and making recommendations
- Responsible for managing the financial forecasting process. Ensuring consistency between business results and forecasted costs in addition to identifying high impact cost reduction opportunities
- Reviewing discrepancies and working with package owners to develop projects or opportunities to help close the major gaps
- Developing and maintaining relationships with existing and potential buyers and suppliers to the company
- Managing financial instruments, such as commodity hedge and FX accounting
- Spending variance analysis
- Leading Procurement of goods and services for Non-Commercial Indirect categories totaling $120M in spend
