Action Car and Truck Accessories is Canada's only national car and truck accessory retailer and distributor to both the private and industry sectors. With our head office in Moncton, New Brunswick, we have 44 stores and distribution centres across the country. We are currently looking for a Warehouse Manager to join our Surrey team.
The Warehouse Manager, alongside a team of one to two Shipper/Receivers, oversees the reception, handling, distribution and storage of all freight, product and supplies at the Surrey warehouse. Key responsibilities include:
- Picking orders for customers in a timely manner in adherence to delivery schedules and customer needs.
- Communicating any delays or variances in inbound and outbound shipments to appropriate parties.
- Planning warehouse layout and space requirements in order to prevent loss and/or damage, and to achieve full warehouse optimization.
- Identifying discrepancies between inventory records and taking action.
- Implementing and monitoring performance metrics for shipping and receiving.
- Managing a small team of Shipper/Receivers.
- Supervising a team of Daily Delivery Drivers.
- Enforcing all corporate policies regarding security and safety in order to maintain a safe working environment.
- Greeting and servicing all customers picking up product.
- Reporting any issues to the Store Manager.
- Managing/assisting in management of return and warranty processes.
**Qualifications**:
- 5 Years of direct warehouse or supply chain work experience.
- 2 Years of Supervisory experience.
- Direct working knowledge of operations, warehouse management, and transportation management.
- Direct knowledge of WHMIS and other safety systems.
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills
- Team leadership and teambuilding abilities.
**Job Types**: Full-time, Permanent
Pay: $65,000.00-$75,000.00 per year
