The Carbon Bar is looking for a new Restaurant General Manager to join the team.

The Carbon Bar is a very exciting and lively restaurant focusing on American BBQ with an extensive bar program which has a large influence on Whiskey, Whisky and Bourbon. We continue to remain the best BBQ in the city, the best upscale casual restaurant, Open Tables 100 best restaurants for 4 years straight and rated the best burger in the city. Just succeeded 10 years in business we couldn't be happier. With the changing of the environment our business now expanded to substantial takeout operations. From all major delivery apps to wholesale and more.

**Responsibilities and Duties**

Duties and Responsibilities include but are not limited to:
Managing all daily operation of delivery apps and take out operations

Managing day to day operations of service and the restaurant

Providing leadership and instilling pride to staff

Establishing and executing high standards of food and beverage

Sourcing new vendors and working within currently confinements of our partners

Managing staff and schedules for FOH

Coordinating and planning with Management team and owners regarding promotional programs, new menus, adjustments to business, future plans, service notes, etc.

**Qualifications and Skills**

Knowledge of apps to initiate marketing, promotions, guest feedback, ability to maximize flow of sales

Basic marketing knowledge

4 to 5 years of previous Management Experience Required

1-2 years of Bar Management Experience Preferred

Inventory

Costing

Cocktail knowledge and experience

Basic HR Knowledge

Team builder

**Job Types**: Full-time, Permanent

Pay: $80,000.00-$100,000.00 per year

- 10 hour shift
- Evening shift
- Weekends as needed

- Toronto, ON M5C 1S1: reliably commute or plan to relocate before starting work (required)
