**MISSION**

We are looking for a Learning & Development Specialist at one of our Mersen locations to partner with our Corporate team in Paris, France to support L&D activities in North America.
- Manage the Corporate L&D platform for all North American locations.
- Research and recommend new programs or enhancements to training programs based on the latest trends.
- Coordinate and plan various forms of additional live, remote, and e-learning programs for the North American region.
- Develop training content for Corporate or regional needs using the global L&D platform.
- Evaluates program effectiveness through assessments, surveys, and feedback. Provides feedback and guidance to instructors on various training techniques
- Maintains records of learning & development activities, attendance, results of assessments, and retraining requirements
- Creates and maintains training procedure manuals, guides, and course materials when necessary
- Develop and cascade communication around training programs and activities for the region
- Performs other related duties as assigned

**Requirements**:

- Bachelor’s Degree in Human Resources, Learning and Development, or a related field preferred
- Minimum of 2 years in a Learning & Development role
- Advanced knowledge of Microsoft Word, PowerPoint, and Outlook is required, and a solid understanding of MS Excel expected
- Experience with Cornerstone LMS platform while adept with a variety of training platforms and methodologies
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
- Strong presentation and project management skills, with a keen eye for detail
- A self-starter with the ability to take initiative and proactively solve problems
- A team player, willing to collaborate, support, and encourage teammates when needed
- Ability to evaluate and research training options and alternatives
- Basic knowledge of instructional design and adult learning principles
- Video editing skills are a plus
- Experience developing and managing corporate communications a plus
- Ability to travel on occasion

**Reports to**: VP of HR for North America with a functional link to the Corporate L&D Director

**Job Types**: Full-time, Permanent

**Salary**: Up to $80,000.00 per year
