**Position Overview**

At Evolution AV, our proposals are more than just documents—they are a reflection of our brand, our expertise, and our commitment to helping clients succeed. We are looking for a skilled Proposal Writer who can transform technical details into persuasive, client-focused narratives that win business. This role is critical in ensuring that every submission showcases our differentiators—reliability, innovation, cost-effectiveness, and trusted partnership—while meeting all compliance requirements.

**Job Duties**:
Proposal Development
- Draft, edit, and format proposals, RFP responses, and executive summaries in line with client requirements and Evolution AV’s brand standards.
- Translate technical designs and solutions into clear, persuasive, client-friendly language.
- Develop win themes that emphasize reliability, cost-effectiveness, innovation, and trusted partnership.

Compliance & Process
- Review RFP documents, build compliance checklists, and track mandatory requirements (e.g., forms, insurance, certifications, site visits).
- Ensure all submissions are 100% compliant to avoid disqualification.
- Maintain an RFP response library (case studies, resumes, certifications, boilerplate content).

Collaboration
- Work with Account Managers and Regional Managers to gather project details, pricing inputs, and delivery timelines.
- Partner with Technical Designers to ensure technical accuracy.
- Coordinate with Marketing to align brand messaging, tone, and visuals.
- Continuous Improvement
- Capture lessons learned from each bid to refine future responses.
- Stay informed on AV industry trends and government/enterprise procurement requirements.

**Skills and Qualifications**
- Bachelor’s degree in communications, Marketing, Business, or related field (or equivalent experience).
- 3+ years of experience in proposal writing, bid coordination, or technical writing—preferably in technology, construction, or AV/IT industries.
- Strong understanding of RFP processes, compliance, and procurement standards.
- Exceptional writing, editing, and formatting skills—able to make complex technical information clear and persuasive.
- Highly organized with the ability to manage multiple deadlines and stakeholders.
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint) and Adobe Acrobat; experience with HubSpot or other CRM tools is an asset.
