**What You’ve Accomplished**

You have completed a Bachelors Degree, or related experience in lieu of degree. You may have also obtained an advanced degree in similar fields. You have worked in a nuclear quality assurance experience role for at least 2 years, you know fundamental concepts, practices and procedures of particular field of specialization, and are ready to join Framatome and help deliver clean, safe energy and advance nuclear technology.

- Able to work in team environment
- Strong computer skills
- Experience in Electrical High Voltage
- Electrical Engineering or technologist background
- Bruce Power or OPG Experience is a strong differentiating asset
- Pressure boundary, welding and mechanical knowledge

**Your Opportunity**

This full-time role is about making an impact on people’s lives and the future of clean energy. You will leverage your skills and experience to be part of an innovative team and make a difference for our customers. As a Quality Specialist in Pickering or Kincardine, Ontario, (remote work options may be considered) you will be part of the proven team in the Installed Base Business Unit. Under light supervision, this position is responsible for performing inspections surveillance and auditing supplier and site processes and activities to ensure that appropriate controls have been defined and implemented to meet customer, regulatory and ISO/N299.X requirements. Incumbents must be familiar with fundamental Electrical Discipline (Transformers, High Voltage equipment, Breakers, Relays, motors, etc) or Code and Standard Mechanical Discipline (TSSA/ ASME/W59), QA concepts, practices and procedures. Your work will include:

- Plans, schedules and conducts independent assessments and surveillance of materials and products.
- Reviews documents, prepares checklists, conducts assessment interviews and prepares assessment reports.
- Ensures and documents that corrective actions are taken based on report findings.
- Completes Inspection and Test Plans technical reviews and preparations.
- Able to perform receipt inspections of incoming project materials to procurement requirements
- Reviews QA procedures to verify compliance with ISO9001/CSA N299.X/CSA N286/ CSA N285/ CSA B31.1/ CSA B31.3 as applicable
- Maintains knowledge and understanding of CNSC, TSSA, ESA or other pertinent regulations and industry codes and standards.
- Develops and implements nuclear and/or non-nuclear quality assurance procedures to be followed for design, procurement, construction and/or operation of materials and/or processes.
- Reviews quality assurance specifications, test reports and other documentation to ensure that safety and quality assurance requirements are met.
- May inspect and review contractors' and vendors' work for compliance with QA standards.
