**Our Support Office team currently has an exciting opportunity for an Accounts Payable Specialist to join our Team.**

**As the successful Accounts Payable Specialist you will share similar values as Schlegel Villages as well as have the skill set in processing invoices and issuing vendor payments for our Villages.**

**Accounts Payable Responsibilities**:

- Accurately review and enter invoices for 19 locations in Ontario, on a timely basis
- Reconcile vendor statements, research and correct discrepancies
- Maintain files and documentation thoroughly and accurately, in accordance with Schlegel Villages policy and accepted accounting practices
- Respond to payment concerns with vendors and managers at our villages
- Process weekly cheque run
- Adaptable, flexible and efficient communication skills
- Assist with various accounting projects as needed

**Experience and Qualifications**
- Experience in Accounts Payable and or general accounting is an asset
- Team player with solid interpersonal skills and strong work ethic
- Proficient in Excel
- Strong Organizational skills and time management
- Degree in Business, Accounting or Finance an asset
