Under the general direction of the Senior Director, Bijoux Birks, the Coordinator, Product Development & QQ collaborates with the Merchandising team as well as PD team. He/She will be working with the design committee to help define product design strategies with action plans, reviewing market trends and pricing awareness.

In addition, the Coordinator, Product Devlopment & QC is expected to
- Tracks and keeps herself and the design committee informed of changes on trends in international luxury, fashion, jewelry and timepieces
- Maintain up to date reviews of jewellery style and design trends: competition analysis, style and trend books, evolution of manufacturing techniques etc.
- Maintain and manage Bijoux Birks design archives.
- Participates in the sample development of designs through prototyping process to final approved pre-production sample
- Work closely with PD team to insure TTM is respected.
- Work with E-commerce team to ensure proper product representation on website
- Relevant College or University Degree
- Proficient in both official languages
- Minimum of 2 years work experience in merchandising/ product development in a similar role.
- Cooperative skills in working with other departments and outside partners
- Works well under pressure and with tight deadlines
- Team spirit
