**PRODUCT DEVELOPMENT & PRODUCTION ASSISTANT**

**RESPONSIBILITIES**:

- Support the Product Manager to organize, plan and execute the full-cycle product development and production process
- Review and compare quote sheets from vendors
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date product database
- Conduct market, industry, and competitor research in similar products for review and to keep up-to-date in trends, innovation, and technology
- Support the Sales Team by assisting with the coordination of key retail accounts, ensuring the Sales Team has the appropriate sales materials and sales data & reporting with updates on production & shipping
- Prioritize and fulfill product requests and sample requests from customers in a timely manner
- Gain clear understanding of product knowledge, product features, product benefits, and assist with product copywriting and product packaging feedback
- Assist the Product Development team with the management of relationships with key retail vendors
- Coordinate production and shipment of all samples in and out of the product development department
- Assist the Product Development Team with product trade shows, seminars, and events

**QUALIFICATIONS**:

- 1-3 years of experience in the consumer goods industry, production, or product development with consumer/retail marketing experience a plus
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills with an ability to work effectively across different levels of the department and organization
- Strong attention to detail
- Strong analytical and organizational skills, with a proven track record multi-tasking in a dynamic and fast-paced environment
- Prior experience in sales reporting, sales support and coordination
- Open-minded, solution-focused, and nimble with a proven ability to respond positively to change
- Fully proficient in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, EXCEL, PowerPoint)
- Bachelors degree in Product Development, Production, Marketing, Business or related degree.
