**Position Overview**:
**Required Education, Skills, and Qualifications**:

- Bachelor’s degree required.
- Having an Education Assistant Certificate will be an asset.
- Minimum of 2-3 years of experience in a school setting, especially in elementary schools.
- Highly responsible and punctual.
- Exceptional written and oral communication skills in English.
- Effective communication and interpersonal skills to build and sustain relationships with students, parents, and colleagues.
- Preferably having experience with MyEd BC.

**Job duties**:

- Greet and assist parents, students and other stakeholders in a polite and professional manner.
- Plan and manage the after school care program.
- Provide students supervision during lunch and recess.
- Assisting the school principal with essential elementary administrative duties, such as handling attendance, generating report cards, and performing other related tasks in a timely manner..
- Organize the school events for K-7 program
- Support office-related tasks.

Pay: $40,000.00-$45,000.00 per year
