As an integral member of the Human Resources team, the HR Generalist contributes to the Company’s goal of attracting and developing talented team members by supporting and coaching people managers and leading and developing impactful programs.

With responsibility for a stakeholder group of approx. 200 people, the HR Generalist works across Employee Relations, Learning & Development, Onboarding, Recruitment, Employee Engagement and Recognition and Diversity & Inclusion initiatives.

The role will work on a hybrid office attendance basis, attending the physical office regularly at 200 Granville Street during training and probation.

**Responsibilities**:

- Acts as the primary contact for support and guidance on employee relations for the Office team of 200 Associates, working in close partnership with People Managers and with support from the Vice President and HR team
- Owns performance management for the Office team, including the goal setting, mid-year and annual review process and performance improvement programs. Leads career development programs for the Office stakeholder group
- Responsible for recruitment and onboarding of licensed Strata and Property Managers; will be tasked with developing a talent pipeline program for this in-demand position
- Delivers onboarding and exit programs to ensure a seamless and professional experience that reflects the FirstService Residential BC culture
- Responsible for office Associate communication, including newsletters and HR / other announcements and service recognition. Coordinates company wide recognition activities
- Contributes to the planning and delivery of employee events, in partnership with the Executive Assistant, Reception and other departments as needed
- In partnership with marketing, promotes BC’s employer brand, gathering/drafting content and making recommendations based on best practices. Leads diversity, inclusion and social purpose initiatives, including monthly campaigns
