Today the company owns and operates an international real estate portfolio that includes commercial and residential properties, hotels, golf courses, vineyards and blueberry/cranberry farms. In addition to its ongoing pursuits in real estate development and construction, AG has expanded its holdings to include assets in the sports & entertainment, renewable energy, aquaculture, tourist attraction, restaurant, and beverage industry.

**SUMMARY**:
This position is a permanent full-time position based out of our head office in downtown Vancouver.

**ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES**:
(other duties may be assigned, as required)
- Support the recruitment process and collaborate with hiring managers to identify staffing needs, create job descriptions, post jobs, and provide support for offer and negotiation stages.
- Oversee the entire onboarding process for new hires, ensuring seamless integration into the company.
- First point of contact for employee inquiries, providing appropriate guidance and solutions and escalating as needed.
- Facilitate conflict resolution and maintain a positive work environment.
- Implement and support managers with employee training and development, performance management processes including goal setting, regular feedback and performance reviews.
- Provide guidance to managers on performance related issues and support managers in developing Performance Success plans when necessary.
- Assist the Director, HR in developing, implementing, and updating HR programs, policies and procedures.
- Ensure company policies are clearly communicated and adhered to by all employees.
- Stay current with employment laws and regulations, ensuring company compliance.
- Assist with internal HR audits and reporting as required.
- Promote company values and work towards creating and maintaining a high performing, positive work environment.
- Support the delivery and maintenance of social and wellness programs.
- Identify training needs and coordinate training programs to enhance employee skills and knowledge.
- Ensure the completion and documentation of training programs, including code of conduct, handbook, anti-bullying & harassment training, etc.
- Occasional coverage for front-desk reception as needed.

Performs other related duties and assists with special projects as required.

**REQUIRED EXPERIENCE AND QUALIFICATIONS**:

- Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business Administration or a related field
- 2+ years of experience as an HR Coordinator, Generalist, or similar role
- Strong organizational and multitasking skills, capable of managing multiple responsibilities simultaneously and remain calm under pressure
- Exceptional communication, problem-solving, collaboration, and negotiation skills
- Ability to display integrity, professionalism, and confidentiality at all times
- Good knowledge of employment standards, laws and regulations
- Proficient with Microsoft Office Suite
- Familiarity with ATS and HRIS platforms is preferred
- Experience with immigration (LMIAs) is an asset
