The Supply Chain team at 3sHealth is looking for a Contracts Officer to assist in all activities and phases of the provincial contracting process and contract management. **Reporting to the Manager, Operations, the Officer is expected to**:
- Work in partnership with internal and external stakeholders
- Administer and work within all phases of contract management including database/software systems updates and maintenance
- Coordinate and communicate information to health partners, customers and vendors
- Provide ongoing administration of provincial contracts
- Assist with coordinating and preparing information and documentation to complete the contracting process (product data, RFx and contract documents, etc.)
- Preparing, formatting and distributing department correspondence, reports, and meeting minutes
- Assisting with other general administrative and support activities (i.e. organizing meetings and managing meeting logistics)
**Experience**:
- One year of post-secondary education in office administration or an equivalent combination of education and experience. Relevant years of experience may be considered in place of formal education.
- Experience in procurement and/or contract management would be considered an asset.
**Required Qualifications**:
- Advanced knowledge of MS Office Suite, including Outlook, SharePoint, and related software, with the ability to learn relevant purchasing programs, including the contract management system;
- Proficient communication skills in English (both written and verbal) to effectively liaise with external stakeholders and partners.
- Strong organizational skills to manage multiple contracts, track deadlines, and maintain accurate records.
- Knowledge of lean processes would be considered an asset.
