Toon Boom’s new Gaming/Animation Solution Specialist is responsible for providing support to our gaming and animation studio clients. Reporting to the Professional Services Director, he/she provides training, guidance, as well as problem solving any client issues as it pertains to our gaming solution, Harmony, and Storyboard Pro.**Responsibilities**:
- Provide on-site and remote training to Toon Boom customers around the world
- Perform events, groups, and one-on-one product demonstrations to support Sales personnel and distributors
- Provide consulting to new and existing studios regarding pipelines, roles, and processes
- Consult with the Professional Services team to create consistent and efficient training and demo material
- Create interesting, high-quality animations and storyboards using Toon Boom solutions to promote new features, assist Marketing initiatives, supply the Training team, and provide e-learning material summarizing the features and benefits of the product
- Generate high-quality training videos explaining the gaming products' features in a language and visual manner suited to various targeted markets (professional, educational, etc.)
- Create sample tests and assets conversion for potential and existing customers to assist the sales team
- Working with the Sales team, assist existing customers with production needs, including rig evaluations and animation tests
- Stay up to date on the latest technology, software, and techniques related to animation, video editing, and multimedia
- Work closely and collaboratively with artists, animators, developers, and product owners (our clients) to solve challenging problems
**Experience & Qualifications**:
- Previous experience in 2D animation industry using Toon Boom Harmony / Previous experience in Game Design/Programming
- Proven track record of solving technical problems quickly and efficiently
- Proficient (spoken and written) in English, with other languages an asset
- Knowledge of Windows and/or Mac OS is required (Linux is an asset)
- Experience/familiarity with Game Engines such as Unity or Unreal
- Specific technical knowledge (Toon Boom Harmony, but Unity an asset)
- Hands on knowledge of the technology used in games and multimedia
- Knowledge of codes and visual language specific to video games
- Knowledge of production steps and understanding of creative processes
- Clear and concise communication as well as great interpersonal skills in order to answer customers enquiries
- Organized and ability to works well under pressure
- Capable of quickly learning how to use new software and of maintaining current knowledge
- Ability to travel when needed
- Self-Driven; Ability to work independently
- Ability to work in a collaborative team and share constructive input
