**Inside Sales - Business Development Representative**

**Position Overview**:
As a Business Development Representative at ExpensePoint, you will play a crucial role in driving our sales pipeline by identifying and qualifying potential customers and ultimately scheduling product demonstrations for our Global Sales Specialists. This position offers an exciting opportunity to work in a fast-paced environment, interact with key decision-makers, and contribute to the growth of our business. This role, the focus is more on the front end of the sales process

**Qualifications and Responsibilities**
- Lead Qualification Skills: Ability to quickly and effectively assess a lead's potential and fit for the product. This involves understanding their needs, budget, decision-making process, and timeline.
- Communication Skills: Strong verbal and written communication skills are crucial for engaging potential customers, explaining the value of the product, and encouraging them to attend a demo.
- Listening Skills: Active listening is important to understand the specific needs and pain points of potential customers, which can then be communicated to the sales team for a tailored demo.
- Sales Acumen: A good understanding of sales processes and tactics, even if they are not closing deals themselves. This helps in creating a smooth transition from the demo setting to the actual sales process.
- Persistence and Follow-Up: The tenacity to follow up with leads persistently but respectfully, keeping them engaged and moving them through the sales funnel.
- Time Management: Efficient management of time to handle multiple leads, schedule demos, and coordinate with the sales team.
- Organizational Skills: Being well-organized to manage schedules, track interactions with potential customers, and ensure that all relevant information is passed on to the sales team.
- Customer Relationship Management (CRM) Proficiency: Familiarity with CRM software to track leads, schedule demos, and record relevant lead information.
- Empathy and Customer Orientation: An empathetic approach to understanding and addressing customer needs and concerns, making them feel valued and understood.
- Collaboration and Teamwork: Ability to work closely with the sales team, providing them with all necessary information to conduct a successful demo.
- Analytical Skills: Analyzing feedback and data from interactions with leads to improve engagement strategies and lead qualification criteria.
- Adaptability and Problem-Solving: Being adaptable to different customer personalities and problem-solving to overcome objections or barriers to scheduling a demo.
- Proven Inside Sales Experience: Demonstrated success in an inside sales role, preferably in a technology or B2B environment.
- Results-oriented: A track record of meeting or exceeding sales targets and quotas.
- Tech-savvy: Comfortable using CRM tools and other sales technologies to manage and track leads.
- Team Player: Ability to collaborate effectively with a diverse team and contribute to a positive team culture.

**How to Apply**:
**Salary**: $50,000.00-$100,000.00 per year

**Education**:

- Bachelor's Degree (preferred)

**Experience**:

- Inside sales: 5 years (preferred)
- sales: 5 years (preferred)

Licence/Certification:

- Driving Licence (preferred)
