As **Business Development Representative**, you will be responsible for generating new Group Benefits opportunities for our sales consultant team across Canada. You will target senior decision makers at small and medium businesses to help them advance their corporate health and wellness offering.

**In this role, you will**:

- Source new business through outbound prospect efforts
- Be responsible for generating high quality net new opportunities and driving qualified opportunities to sales consultants in a team-selling environment
- Target executive-level decision-makers at organizations across Canada.
- Stay current on market trends, industry news, and our existing connections and networks and use this information to generate interest
- Work closely with marketing to leverage messaging and collateral to drive sales.
- Utilize HubSpot as the ultimate source of truth to track all communications, next steps, and deal information.

**About you**:

- 2+ years experience in a B2B outbound sales environment selling solutions to executive decision makers.
- Proven experience strategically utilizing multiple channels to generate high quality opportunities.
- Highly motivated & competitive and target driven with a passion for results
- A life-long learner who prioritizes learning and development and wants to get better everyday
- A team player who understands that sales is a team sport and, to build something special, we need to make each other better
- A person of high integrity, who gets things done while also doing it the right way with a customer-first attitude
