**About Us**:
**B&J Contracting** is a heavy civil contractor specializing in municipal development including earthworks, water, sewer and road construction.

We are looking to add a **Project Coordinator** to our growing team based out of our Stayner office

**Responsibilities**:

- Review contract documents and create pre-construction packages which reflect all resources required.
- Obtain and maintain up to date and accurate utility locates
- Maintain records of site deliveries and provide running totals of material quantities delivered to site.
- Plan and schedule work according to available resources in order to meet client needs
- Track & manage change orders and time & material work.
- Assist in monthly progress billing and ensure invoices are submitted for ongoing projects every month
- Prepare substantial completion certificates and ensure all required project close out documents are obtained such as as-builts, watermain testing and CCTV review.
- Assist in the estimation process by completing take offs and preparing RFQ’s.
- Willingness to contribute however possible to ensure the overall effectiveness of projects
- Other duties as assigned

**Qualifications**:

- Previous construction experience is an asset
- Previous work as a coordinator is an asset
- Completion of a Diploma or Degree in Civil Engineering/Construction Management
- Demonstrated time management, scheduling and negotiations skills
- Strong communication skills and results oriented with a sense of urgency and effective problem-solving skills
- Must be organized and flexible to changing business conditions and a fast-past work environment
- Strong computer skills (Microsoft Office)
- Must have a clean driving record and a valid G driver’s license

**Salary**: From $25.00 per hour

Schedule:

- 8 hour shift
