**Job Scope**:
The role of the Project Manager is to act as the lead coordinator for the organization’s projects. The Project Manager supervises and organizes activities and ensures that project timing and budget goals align with both the customer goals and Theta TTS objectives. The Project Manager creates Project Schedules, assigns tasks to Departments, Project Team Members and maintains project schedules on a continuous basis as required. The Project Manager reports out progress to Department Management and Program team members to ensure attainment of project timing, milestones and duration goals. If project goals are in jeopardy, the Project Manager highlights capacity and/or budget constraint to the Department Managers and specific Project Team Members and supports them in overcoming the bottleneck.
**Responsibilities**:
Consults with Technical Sales, Engineering Manager, Process Engineering and Manufacturing Supervisor to develop MS Project Schedules based on customer and project requirements, resources available both within the organisation and outside, prior to project acceptance. This may be prior to quoting or after receipt of purchase order/LOI, but prior to acceptance by Theta TTS.
- Provides budgets to the Technical Sales for the individual activities based on the input provided by the Technical Sales Representative, Engineering Manager, Manufacturing Supervisor and Quality Engineering to determine capacity requirements within the individual departments.
- Solicits team members of the program team together with Department Managers and/or supervisor for each project and solicits feedback from the departments and team members on available capacity to meet deliverables.
- Prepares and monitors budgets and provides feedback on available funds.
- Creates Items and Bill(s) of Resources for the project in the ERP system to ensure consistency according to the Theta TTS part numbering conventions.
- Maintains and updates information within the ERP system.
- Supports the Technical Sales Representative in project meetings with customers and suppliers by providing project information, in meetings and teleconferences as required, to ensure consistency and accurate transfer of information.
- Develops and implements strategy for the project team, including reporting critical path to meet customer’s expectation and supporting corrective actions to assure milestones are achieved.
- Implements and manages changes and interventions to ensure project goals are achieved.
- Provides updates on project budgets on a biweekly basis or as needed pending on project status to the project team.
- Reports project status to the Senior Management Team on a bi-weekly basis.
- Escalates to Business Development Manager and General Manager if program timing is in jeopardy and actions taken are insufficient to meet project and/or customer requirements.
- Meets with stakeholders to make communication easy and transparent regarding project challenges.
- Teaches and trains project members on how to use and read project schedules.
- Holds meeting at the end of the project with team members, finance department to evaluate project timing and budget performance and provides recommendations.
- Reporting on program performance to executive team and directors.
- Identifies opportunities for improvement to project team members as well as to the management team.
- Consolidates lessons learned, things gone right and things gone wrong and shares these findings with the program team and departments after PPAP approval.

- Thorough understanding of project/program management techniques and methods
- Minimum 5 years experience as a Project Coordinator in the automotive industry
- Project Management Professional (PMP) designation is an asset
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office; working knowledge of program/project management software (MS Project etc.) is a strong advantage
- Excellent knowledge of GD&T
- Ability to work in inch and metric system
- Fundamental knowledge of 2D and 3D Design software
- No travelling restrictions into the USA - Mexico
- Valid driver’s license
- Remain current in job related training and upgrading
- Working Knowledge of ISO and TS Quality Management Systems
**Working conditions**:
- Work is performed in a manufacturing environment both in an office and plant floor
- Appropriate safety equipment must be worn based on the task being performed
- Dress code will vary from business formal to shop floor labour
- Stressful and time sensitive
- Overtime, off hour and on-call work may be required
**Salary**: $60,000.00-$80,000.00 per year
