As a Regulatory Specialist, you will play a crucial role in ensuring compliance with regulatory requirements and standards. You will be responsible for conducting research and providing support to our Quality Assurance, Product Development and Marketing departments to meet our customers' requirements while complying with Canadian food safety and quality regulations.

- Provide Regulatory and Labelling guidance and expertise in creation of food packaging across all food sectors, including: Seafood; Frozen Entrees; Baked Goods; Canned Goods; Frozen Fruit/Vegetables; Pet Food; Baby Food
- Responsible for review of all packaging components, at all artwork stages, for Canadian Regulatory compliance and customer requirements
- Support new product developments; review of product specification, ingredients, allergens, CoA, labelling) for compliance to Canadian regulations and customer expectations, produce product specification
- Review of all raw material specifications versus internal and customer requirements
- Review of internal and customer finished product specifications
- Review of Marketing documentation and releases
- Accurate communication of expectations to suppliers and assurance of compliance
- Customer regulatory guidance

- Bachelor Degree in Food Science required
- 2 to 5 years experience in Regulatory role required
- Excellent project management abilities to ensure timely completion of regulatory tasks
- Excellent Working knowledge of Canadian food labeling requirements
- Detail-oriented with effective problem-solving skills
- Able to work effectively as an individual with mínimal supervision and as a team member with a positive attitude.
- Ability to multi-task and manage multiple priorities simultaneously to meet deadlines in a fast-paced work environment.
- Able to influence and interact effectively with all levels at customer, co-packer, and office locations.
- Understanding and experience with Fish and Seafood, or Frozen Meals is an asset.
- Experience with overseas suppliers and Canadian Import Regulations are and asset.

**Salary**: $60,000.00-$75,000.00 per year
